Customer in Fountain Hills, AZ reported a strange noise coming from both furnace units. Upon inspection, our HVAC technician found the issue was caused by severely clogged air filters restricting airflow. The restricted airflow was creating excess strain on the furnace system, resulting in abnormal operational noise. Replaced clogged filters, restored proper airflow, and tested both heating systems to confirm normal performance. Noise issue fully resolved. While onsite, performed a complimentary furnace safety inspection on both units, including airflow check, blower motor inspection, electrical connections review, and overall heating system performance evaluation. Both furnaces are operating safely and efficiently at this time.
